The Silicon Valley Security Group was established in September of 2021 in Redwood City, CA.
The idea was to build a one-of-a-kind, ego-free, inclusive and innovative community of security professionals that would help one another in times of need.
The membership process was also very simple, yet effective: Bring someone you trust, someone who you think might be a good fit for SVSG.
The community grew organically through informal social events and casual conversations.
In December of 2023, the Silicon Valley Security Group became a 501c3 non-profit organization.
